Carter turns 1 today!

Carter's 1st day home, May 4, 2008.

I can't believe that Carter is 1 years old today. This year has flown by so fast and he has grown by leaps and bounds in the past year. These are the pictures I took of him this morning, right after he got his bath, so he's the cleanest he'll be all day.

He's walking more and more everyday. He has such a lovable personality and loves to laugh and play games. He is constantly exploring the world around him and testing my patience and reflexes to keep him out of trouble.

His favorite things right now:

Cars, trucks, basically anything with wheels

Water--he loves to swim and splash in water, especially Ella's dog bowl

Balls--he plays "catch" with us and "fetch" with Ella

He's talking more each day. His current words are:

Sit

No

Ball

Sissy (What he calls Reagan)

"No Ella"--when she's licking him
